Abercrombie also said that its Q4 same store sales rose 13%. The company's abercrombie kids line had a 9% increase in comp sales while its Hollister line of stores had comp sales rise 13%.
The company also stated it is forecasting 2011 capex of about $300 million.
Chairman and CEO Mike Jeffries said, "We are very pleased with our fourth quarter results.
Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE:ANF) reported Q4 EPS of $1.38, topping consensus estimates of $1.32. Sales also came in slightly above estimates and totaled $1.15 billion vs. the Street target of $1.14 billion.
Still, the move is seen as making it harder for investors to follow the retail chains.
