AAR Receives $24M in Shelter Orders From U.S. Army

The Company was also awarded a three-year contract valued at up to $10M, under which it will provide 20' ISO shelters for the U.S. Army.

The Army will use these shelters for mobile Petroleum Quality Analysis Systems to test and analyze fuels in support of in-theater operations.

AAR (NYSE: AIR) announced that it has been awarded a five-year contract to provide lightweight, multi-purpose shelters for the U.S. Army, valued up to $14M.

Paramount's distribution relationship with DreamWorks Animation (NASDAQ:DWA), which ends at the close of 2012, is brought into question because of this announcement.

Viacom's (NYSE:VIA.B) Paramount will start producing one animated film a year in 2014 via the launch of it's new unit, Paramount Animation.

The ISM Said Its Services Index Fell To 53.3% In June

The index has retreated from a recent peak of 59.7% in February.

In the U.S., the new-orders portion of the services index fell 3.2 percentage points to 53.6%. The backlog of orders index sank an even sharper 6.5 percentage points to 48.5%, which is the first time that backlogs have contracted

The Institute for Supply Management said its services index fell to 53.3% last month from 54.6% in May, supplying further evidence that the U.S. economy has lost steam. Economists had expected the services index to drop to 54.0%.
