Stock Investors Sell Off Shares of First Solar, Down 2.1%

First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR) is a company whose shares are active, trading 2.1% lower to $30.47. The S&P is trading higher by 0.6% to 1,518 and the Dow is trading 0.5% higher to 14,012.

In the past 52 weeks, First Solar share prices have been bracketed by a low of $11.43 and a high of $50.20 and are now at $30.47, 167% above that low price. Over the last five market days, the 200-day moving average (MA) has gone up 0.8% while the 50-day MA has advanced 1.4%.

First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR) defies analysts with a current price ($30.47) 10.1% above its average consensus price target of $27.41. The stock should find initial support at its 50-day moving average (MA) of $30.43 and further support at its 200-day MA of $21.84.

First Solar, Inc. designs and manufactures solar modules. The Company uses a thin film semiconductor technology to manufacture electricity-producing solar modules.
