WTO Rejects 80% of EU Claims Against Boeing, Finds Only $2.7B In Illegal Subsidies

The ruling is a huge win for the American aerospace giant, and a blow to its archrival EADS, the parent company of Airbus.

The World Trade Organization ruled Thursday that Boeing Co (NYSE:BA) has received about $2.7 billion in illegal subsidies from the federal government over the last several decades.

Fiscal 2011 U.S. Agricultural Exports Expected To Be Highest Ever

Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack said at the Commodity Classis convention in Tampa, that exports of farm and food products are expected to reach $135.5 billion in fiscal year 2011, which ends in September.

That would be the best year ever for US exports in the sector, and would represent a 25% increase in value over fiscal 2010.

U.S. government officials are expecting a record year for American agricultural exports, as agriculture commodity prices continue to climb near the all-time peak levels reached in 2008.

eBay Sets Up Shop in China to Boost Exports

On December 03, 2010, eBay was downgraded to Hold from Buy at Citigroup.

The company has reported $9.0 billion in sales over the past 12 months and is expected to report $10.2 billion in sales in the next fiscal year.
