Osiris posted net income of $4.4 million, or 13 cents per share, from a year ago profit of $15.7 million, or 48 cents per share. Analysts expected a profit of 9 cents per share.
Osiris is currently developing a product called Prochymal, which is composed of stem cells taken from adult bone marrow, and is seeking regulatory approval for the product.
