American Eagle Outfitters Announced Same-Store Sales Fell 11% In December (AEO)

Consolidated comparable store sales fell 11% for the month, compared to a 7% increase for the same period last year.

American Eagle Outfitters has a potential upside of 20.8% based on a current price of $14.24 and an average consensus analyst price target of $17.21.

American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE:AEO) announced that total sales for the five weeks ended January 1, 2011 fell 6% to $499 million, compared to $531 million for the five weeks ended January 2, 2010.
