Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) reported Q2 EPS of $0.77, topping consensus estimates of $0.68 per share. Revenues for the quarter were $19.95 billion, ahead of consensus estimates of $19.14 billion.
Microsoft has been trying to gain market share after some have criticized the company for being late to address the smartphone market.
Quoting, Greg Sullivan, a senior product manager at Microsoft, Bloomberg reported that customer satisfaction for the product registered at 93%. Meanwhile, brand awareness was at 66%.
