United to Finish Inspections of 757s; No Cancellations Planned

The inspections were brought on by incorrect follow-up checks on the modified on-board computers of the aircraft. UAL had followed a federal directive in modifying the aircrafts' on-board computers in 2004.

UAL spokeswoman Megan McCarthy said the inspections would not cause cancellations and are expected to finished on Wednesday.

Shares are down 0.18% to $27.14.
