Boeing (NYSE:BA) announced that it has booked 19 new orders for its 777, and it needs to build commercial planes faster to keep up with demand.
Unidentified customers ordered seven more 777s, while Cathay Pacific ordered 12.

This week, Boeing (NYSE:BA) delivered its first 777-300ER (extended range) to Air China. The new airplane is the first of 19 777-300 ERs Air China ordered with Boeing.

"They're a great customer and obviously we want to keep them," Albaugh said of his meeting with Gerard Arpey, the chairman and chief executive officer of American Airlines.

Boeing still has to think about whether to provide new engines on the 737 airplanes or make an additional new aircraft by 2020.
