Amgen (AMGN) reported Q1 revenue of $3.7 billion, just ahead of the analyst consensus of $3.68 billion. EPS was $1.34, vs. expectations of $1.29 per share.
The company reaffirmed its total revenue guidance for 2011 to be in the range of $15.1 billion to $15.5 billion. Amgen continues to expect 2011 adjusted EPS to be in the range of $5.00 to $5.20. The Street is at $15.24 bln in revenue and earnings of $5.15 per share.
