Eight New York residents filed a lawsuit against China and Baidu (NASDAQ:BIDU), according to the Wall Street Journal, claiming they violated U.S. constitutional rights by blocking prodemocracy speech from Baidu search results.

The lawsuit comes more than a year after Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) said it would no longer censor search results in China.

A spokesperson for the company declined to comment.

Baidu has a potential upside of 26.3% based on a current price of $131.84 and an average consensus analyst price target of $166.47.
