Good Morning. It's Wednesday, February 16, 2011. At this hour, U.S. equity futures are higher. Overseas, the Asian markets advanced, while the European markets are up. In the headlines... Air Products (APD) has withdrawn it's offer for Airgas (ARG) ... and Thermo Fisher Scientific (TMO) announced that its previously announced tender offer to acquire all of the outstanding shares of Dionex (DNEX) for $118.50 per share in cash has been extended and will now expire at midnight, eastern time, at the end of Thursday, April 7... meanwhile Moody's Ratings Agency has placed senior unsecured debt ratings of Australia's four major banks on review for a possible downgrade to Aa1 long-term ... BHP Billiton (BHP) announced that it will complete its $10B share buyback by end of 2011 ... while finally Autodesk (ADSK) announced its intentions to acquire Scaleform Corp., a privately held user interface tools and middleware company, for about $36M in cash.
