American Apparel (APP) CEO Dov Charney is in talks to hire Marty Staff, a respected industry veteran, in an effort to revamp the company, sources tell the New York Post. Staff has been credit with turnaround around Hugo Boss in the U.S. and doubling the size of Calvin Klein in the 1990s. The sources say a deal to bring Staff on board as Charney's second-in-command could occur as early as next week.
