A federal judge in Alaska is due to hear arguments Friday about whether Exxon Mobil (XOM) owes another $100 million to remove oil remaining on the shore in Prince William Sound, site of the 1989 Exxon Valdez tanker spill, the Associated Press reports. The hearing comes as a result of a motion filed by Rick Steiner, a retired University of Alaska professor, who is trying to force action on a claim filed in 2006 by the state and federal government. Exxon Mobil shares are up 0.47%, or $0.40, to $85.20.
