LDK Solar (LDK) has raised its Q4 and 2011 forecast above analysts' estimates, after seeing higher solar wafer, cell and module production volume.
The hiked revenue outlook is now within the range of $870 million to $910 million, from a prior forecast of $710 million to $750 million. This is above analysts' expectations of about $742 million, on average. For 2011, the company now expects $3.5 billion to $3.7 billion, up from the prior $2.9 billion to $3.3 billion. Again, this is above analysts' estimates of $2.74 billion.
Shares are up 18.89% to $12.40.
