European financial giant Credit Suisse is giving optimism to investors after announcing Friday they expect a profitable second quarter.
This comes after Switzerland's central bank said in its financial stability report that the firm didn't have enough capital reserves this year and should increase them.
Even though Credit Suisse has had some trading losses over the past year, the firm shot back at the central bank, saying that they were confident with the reserves that they have.
Credit Suisse did not give any updated guidance on their second quarter results but the firm will release their report on July 26.
